Our event will begin at 11:00 a.m. and include free giveaways, pet-centric activities, competitions, and local vendors! Enjoy quality time with your four-legged family members while giving back to community animal shelters and rescues like Adopt-a-Dog.

Along with fun and entertainment, attendees will leave with bags full of free pet food products and toys. This year's Dog Days Diamond sponsors include First Mate, Raised Right, and Open Farm. New Canaan Dog Days 2025

The annual New Canaan Dog Days hosted by Pet Pantry Warehouse at the New Canaan Nature Center is back on Sunday, June 1st. This "ultimate furry FUN-draising event" is a good time for the whole family and benefits the New Canaan Nature Center and Adopt-a-Dog.

This is a FREE event, attendees can expect a packed lineup of fun, interactive, and family-friendly activities, including: Dog Lovers Lure Coursing; Face Painting; Caricature Artist; Bone Bar; Ice Cream Pawlour; Sniffari; Scavenger Hunt in New Canaan; Food Trucks; Splash Park, and more.

The New Canaan Dog Days Scavenger Hunt will be specially curated and hosted by Rock Paper Scissors Custom Events, known for their creative and engaging community activations.

BACK TO THE EIGHTIES SHOW WITH Jessie’s Girl!

Back To The Eighties Show with Jessie’s Girl is the world’s greatest tribute to the music of the  ‘80s! Jessie’s Girl’s primary line-up includes a team of NYC's top rock and pop vocalists: Destinee Monroe, Jerome Bell-Bastien, and Mark Rinzel. They are backed by one of the tightest bands in the city comprised of 20+ year veterans of the NYC music scene: Eric Presti on guitar, Drew  Mortali on bass, Michael Maenza on drums, and Karlee Bloom on keys and keytar. Each with  dozens of credits performing with authentic ‘80s icons who made the music famous to begin with!

The band has continuously sold out nights at prestigious regional venues such as The Capitol  Theatre in Westchester, NY, The Paramount on Long Island, the Count Basie Center for the Arts  in Red Bank, NJ, Penn’s Peak in Jim Thorpe, PA, and many other venues. They are the only  band to play every year on The ‘80s Cruise and have firmed a deal to continue performing  through 2024.

Looking for a new eco-friendly creative hobby that incorporates your love of repurposing/upcycling?! Look no further and save things from the landfill while you learn how to create artistic masterpieces out of found objects. Students have the option to sign up for a single class or the three-part series. Time to put that old “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure” mantra into action, and get in the creative flow while doing it!

In this workshop series, you'll utilize basic skills like cutting, gluing, inking, and painting to breathe new creative life into old texts. From selecting the perfect book to sourcing materials and preparing pages, this series will guide you through everything you need to know to get started with book altering.

Materials are provided, and students are also encouraged to bring an old book of your own or any photos /memorabilia you may like to incorporate in your project.
