From poignant melodies to passionate canonic build-ups, the Franck piece captures listeners' hearts like no other. Franck drew inspiration from other French composers as well, from the ground-breaking evocations of Debussy to the short-lived genius of Lili Boulanger, and at the center of the swirl of early 20th-century music-making, renowned violinist Eugene Ysaye. Don't miss this unforgettable feast: violin sonatas by Debussy and Franck, piano works by Boulanger, and Ysaye's incomparable Ballade for solo violin.
