Fairfield University Quick Center for the Arts presents: Drum Tao!

2023 is the 30th Anniversary of Drum Tao - since 1993, Drum Tao performances have touched more than nine million spectators across the world! Drum Tao features "Wadaiko," or Taiko for short: large, unique sounding Japenese drums, as well as Japense flutes and harps. Wadaiko performances are not to be missed! This is high-energy performance art that combines music, dance, martial arts, and culture with power, speed, and synchronicity, resulting in heart-pounding, dynamic group drumming, Based in Oita, Japan, Drum Tao has three teams that tour the globe and pride themselves on creating "Japenese entertainment" for a new generation.
