Skin Care regimens

Do you ever wake up feeling like your skin is dry, or too oily, or are you noticing your crow’s feet a little bit more these days? This is where I come in. I can take you on a clean skincare journey and help you find the perfect skincare regimen for you depending on your age, the season, and your situation.

I had a client who was struggling with dry skin and was allergic to formaldehyde (yes you read that right, there is formaldehyde in many beauty products on the market). I was able to suggest a few nourishing products for sensitive skin that were still safe for her to use, and her skin looks amazing now! I suggested she use a more moisturizing line that helped lock in hydration but was easy on her skin and kept her looking young.

If you are 30 years old, it's time to get a skincare regimen and it’s time to be consistent with it. It is also time to make sure that you are using the right products for your skin-products that will get you maximum benefits that won’t cause any irritation or reaction. There are options for every skin type and there are options for every type of person (those who enjoy a longer regimen and those who want to keep it concise).

Why do you need a skincare regimen?

As a busy mom of 2, I know it's hard some days to have the energy to wash your face before you go to bed or when you wake up in the morning. Here are several reasons why you need to incorporate a skincare regimen into your daily routine and stay consistent with it.

  1. Skincare products slow down the signs of aging, so you look and feel better.

  2. Keeping your skin healthy is going to make you feel more confident and boost your self-esteem.

  3. Choosing products for your top skincare concerns will work the best for you. Most products are designed to help with specific issues like dark spots or dryness, and even help your skin repair itself.

  4. You can keep your skin bright + glowing, offering a great base for applying makeup.

  5. Having a skincare regimen counts as self-care and that is something you should be incorporating into your daily life!

The best thing to compare this to is when you get your nails done at the nail salon. They cleanse your nails and hands in that little bowl, prep your nails with a base coat, treat with a cuticle cream/serum, paint the nails, and protect the nail with a topcoat. Every piece of the process is necessary to keep your nails looking better for longer. Skincare works the same way! It’s best to buy a skincare regimen in its entirety if you can swing it so that you get maximum benefits of all the products working together. Here are the steps that should be a part of every skincare regimen.

Step 1:

Cleanse-Remove your makeup and impurities (makeup remover, cleanser)

Step 2:

Prep-Get your skin ready for treatment (toner, essence)

Step 3:

Treat-This step packs powerful benefits and can address specific skincare needs/concerns (serum)

Step 4:

Protect-Locks in moisture (moisturizer, eye cream)

Now, let's find the best routine for YOU!

Take this skincare quiz first to find out the best line for you so that you can start feeling your best!
