And Just Like That … its (dry?) January

After a long hiatus the Cosmopolitan is back and we can’t help but attribute it to the Sex and the City revival - And Just Like That. This pretty pink cocktail catapulted to fame in the 1990’s thanks to the many times we saw Carrie, Miranda, Samantha and Charlotte sipping them all over Manhattan. The key to an excellent cosmopolitan (and all cocktails) is quality ingredients - always opt for fresh lime juice (not Rose’s), 100% cranberry juice (not “cocktail”), Cointreau or a premium triple sec such as Naranja or Combier, and a quality vodka (we like local brands Cylinder and Stateside). For those partaking in dry January simply substitute Seedlip Grove 42 non-alcoholic spirit for the vodka and simple syrup with a dash of orange blossom water for the triple sec.
