5 Non-Verbal Ways to Show Affection & Appreciation

I hope you all had a fantastic Thanksgiving and got all those Black Friday Deals you were hoping for!

As you begin to enter the THICK of the holiday season, where things get even more busy…holiday parties, playdates, shopping, wrapping, visiting family etc., we may be ships passing in the night with our partners.   It may be harder to have 1:1 time, so here are 5 non-verbal ways to show affection/appreciation:

1- Leave your partner's coffee mug out for them in the morning

2- Leave a note in their car

3- Do something around the house you normally don't do

4- Bring home flowers or fill their gas tank just because

5- Surprise them with alone time. Take the kids and give them space

Communication, both verbal and nonverbal are the walls of a great relationship. If your walls are falling down or not properly supported, your house will collapse. And if your communication is struggling or leading to increase conflict outside the bedroom, you will certainly not be able to communicate your needs inside the bedroom. Sex is not something that becomes great just because - it becomes great when you have a solid relationship with great communication even during the busy seasons!  (FYI- it is never not the busy season)
