STOP FAKING YOUR ORGASMS!

Jennifer Melville | @relationshipsthriving | Sex & Relationship Coach

There is something I need to tell you, friend...

STOP FAKING YOUR ORGASMS!

3 Reasons to never fake an orgasm.

 1. It breaks down communication in your relationship.  AHHH….couples struggle enough with effective communication.  Let’s not add another piece to the puzzle.  Being able to communicate with your partner effectively, and objectively and coming from a place of kindness, is how relationships grow and thrive. Communication around sex should not be treated any differently.  If you tell him/her that you hate that they leave the wet town on the floor, you shouldn’t be afraid to tell them (fill in the blank) feels good!

2. It builds resentment.  It does.  And builds it unconsciously over time. The anger and frustration toward yourself and your partner will increase and will oftentimes be carried over into other aspects of your life and could also lead to outbursts during conflict unrelated to sex.

Try this….Focus on what you are enjoying, what feels good, and what makes you feel a deeper connection to your partner.  I am going to say it….orgasms don’t need to be the goal.  Pleasure and connection are the goals.

3. Your sex won't get better if you don't voice your needs.  By not voicing what you need and enjoy from sex/intimacy, you are denying yourself the ability to connect deeper with your partner and to experience truly fulfilled pleasure.

Try this…the truth sandwich.  In a separate moment, outside the bedroom, tell your lover something you liked, something they could do differently, and then something else you liked.  Ask them to share their likes and dislikes with you too!

If communication inside the bedroom and under the covers is a challenge for you, I offer you this FREE resource!  Download the guide: 6 Mins to Better Sex.  You're welcome.
